Mouthgasmic RECIPES from the Garden
Steamed or roasted squash - butternut, acorn, or spaghetti
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Diced red onion
Diced jalapeños (optional)
Nuts and/or seeds - sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, walnuts
Dollop of Spiced Date Spread
Herbs, fresh or dried - parsley, lemon balm, cilantro
1. Mash squash of choice with butter, salt, pepper, and cayenne if desired.
2. Spoon into bowls, and top with red onion, jalapeños, nuts/seeds, and a dollop of spiced date spread.
3. Sprinkle with herbs, and serve hot!
