Beef Jerky

RECIPES from the Garden



Ingredients:

2 pounds beef, thinly sliced

1/4 c soy sauce

2 T Worcestershire sauce

2 T brown sugar

2 t Himalayan pink salt

2 t black pepper

1 t garlic powder

1 t onion powder

1 t paprika

Method:

1. Mix ingredients together.

2. Marinate in a bag or Tupperware for 24-48 hours. Be sure to shake or stir it up a few times.

3. Smoke for 3-5 hours at 150-200 degrees F. Alternatively, can be dehydrated in an oven or dehydrated. How long it takes will depend on both the temperature and thickness of the sliced beef. Thinner pieces are more flavorful and dehydrate quicker!
