Mushroom Soup
Mouthgasmic RECIPES from the Garden
This soup is packed with vitamin D and full of flavor! It's quick and easy to pull together, tastes great, and is hearty without being heavy.
Ingredients:
- Oil, butter, or bacon fat
- Onion, chopped
- Mushrooms, sliced
- Chicken, beef, or vegetable stock
- Flour
- Milk
- Garlic powder
- Himalayan pink salt
- Ground black pepper
- The All Mighty Herbal Medley
- Paprika
- Parsley
- Sour cream
- Squeeze of lemon juice

Method:
- Gently heat oil, butter, or bacon fat. Add onions, and cook until soft.
- Add mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle on flour, and stir to make a roux. Cook for a few minutes so your soup doesn't taste like raw flour!
- Add broth, milk, and spices. Simmer for 20-30 minutes to desired thickness.
- Stir in a dollop of sour cream and lemon juice, and serve hot!
