Here's what some of our happy customers say about upgrading to our highest quality 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to treat their pools and hot tubs:

My family's skin is RADIANT! It is soft, smooth, and looks much dewier. My children's blond hair became more vibrant too - I didn't even realize how much duller it was by swimming daily in our old chlorine [treated] pool, until I saw the difference that 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide makes! ~ Belinda B.
My husband and I always enjoyed our nightly soak in the hot tub, except for the stinky chlorine. Using [35% Food Grade] Hydrogen Peroxide is so much better! My tub and I no longer smell like chlorine, and my husband is especially pleased that I look more youthful. It has made it more enjoyable and relaxing! ~ Pamela S.
I've had a hot tub at my condo for years, and usually used chemicals from the pool store to treat it. Out of the blue, the water turned cloudy with a strange odor (beyond the chlorine smell). My pool store sold me more chemicals that didn't work, leaving me discouraged. I did some research to alternative methods, and ended up calling The Garden of Eden's customer service when I came across 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. The person I spoke to acknowledged he wasn't an expert in hot tubs, but asked me many questions to "think through" the problem. He intuited that something had fallen into the hot tub and/or become trapped in its mechanics. Lo and behold, a squirrel was indeed stuck in the pump!! I felt he went above and beyond to help me solve the problem where the "experts" at the pool store had failed. He also graciously answered all my questions and told me about the many, many health benefits of using 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide as a treatment method, so I was more than happy to try it out! I am so, so, so pleased with the results! I feel like instead of overloading my body with chemicals, soaking in the hydrogen peroxide-treated hot tub is actually DETOXING my system! I have more energy, clearer thinking, and more stable moods. I daresay I feel younger overall! Better is better, and I will be a lifelong customer! Thank you for your exceptional customer service, valuable information, and for providing a really great product! ~ Maria L.

If you too would like enjoy the many benefits of using 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to treat your pool and/or hot tubs, HERE IS THE PROCESS:

*If you are switching your pool and/or hot tub to 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for the first time, we recommend you drain your tub or pool, refill it, and run the pump for a few hours or a day with the SHOCK TREATMENT dosage.

SANITIZING

In place of chlorine, add 8 oz 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to 500 gallons water.

MAINTENANCE

Maintain with 2-4 oz 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide per 500 gallons of water weekly. Use Hydrogen Peroxide Test Strips at least weekly, and maintain the level at 50-100 ppm.

SHOCK TREATMENT

Once in awhile, you may need to kill off any organic contaminants or pathogens like viruses or bacteria that the day-to-day sanitizer can no longer eradicate. You can do this by "shocking", AKA treating with a larger than normal dose of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. After draining, cleaning, and filling with fresh, filtered water (OR as needed - see below), add 8 oz 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for every 250 gallons of water.

This is recommended if the water is cloudy or has turned color. With proper sanitation, maintenance, and filtration, shock treatments may not be needed frequently, but this is of course dependent on many factors including number of swimmers/bathers, toiletries used on the skin, climate & weather, water quality, condition of your equipment, whether it is covered, etc.

If you want to do the shock treatment without draining, you can try it. However, if you don't get the results you desire, you can then try draining it, wiping it down, and cleaning the filter - because believe it or not, we have had clients who have had dead animals stuck in their pumps!

Experimentation yields experience and knowledge, so you will learn what is appropriate for YOUR unique pool and/or hot tub!
