RECIPES from the Garden
Classic Tomato Soup is a year-round comfort food - especially when paired with a melty, gooey, buttery, crunchy, grilled cheese sandwich for dipping! We use whatever color of tomatoes we have in season to create the best thick and creamy delight!

Ingredients:​
4 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
1 slice onion
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 cups broth
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon The ALL Mighty Herbal Medley
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
Garnishes (optional): shredded or cubed cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, parsley, nutritional yeast, wedges of Mouthgasmic Sandwiches
Method:
1. Combine the tomatoes, large slice of onion, garlic powder, broth, parsley, and The ALL Mighty Herbal Medley in a stockpot.
2. Over medium heat, bring to a boil.
3. Gently simmer for about 20 minutes to blend the flavors.
4. Blend in a VitaMix or using an immersion blender.
5. Melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux, and cook to medium brown.
6. Gradually whisk in a bit of the tomato purée so no lumps form, then stir in the rest.
7. Season with raw honey or agave and salt, and adjust to taste.
8. Serve hot with desired garnishes!
