Toxicity from mercury and other metals is a serious threat to modern health, but there are easy and accessible solutions that can help you regain thriving wellness!
We invite you to brush up on the series we are sharing about mercury poisoning and the very important detox process, as this information could very well save your life or the lives of your loved ones.
Educating yourself by doing your own research is fundamental! The more you learn, the sooner you might want to safely remove any amalgam fillings and any other sources of mercury exposure that could be making you sick.
Then, we encourage you enhance your elimination pathways and fortify your diet with nutrients that are especially important to a mercury poisoned body.
With your body well supported, we recommend a tasty detox smoothie to enjoy daily to help pull and eliminate mercury from your system.
We want to remind you that pulling mercury and other undesirables out of tissues is only part of the equation; safe passage through elimination channels is another important part of the detox process so the free chemicals don't redistribute in other parts of the body. Atlantic dulse flakes are great for this, which is why we recommend them in the delicious daily detox smoothie.
We're all about options - as there is infinite potential in life - especially when it comes to health and wellness! So today, we present another powerful substance that is not only well known for its ability to bind & flush metals, but has dozens of other uses around the house and home too!!
This wonderful substance is DIATOMACEOUS EARTH!
Diatomaceous earth (DE) is mined from ancient seabeds and waterways; it is made up of the fossilized remains of ancient phytoplankton called diatoms.
Here's how it's hypothesized to bind metals:
Metals are generally positively charged. The ground up bodies of diatoms are high in silica, giving DE a negative charge that attracts metals to itself. Metals bond to DE and get trapped in its honeycomb structure, which gives the body plenty of time to flush out the water soluble DE before the metals break apart and resettle elsewhere.
The fact that DE is water soluble means you cannot "overdose" on it either; it will simply be eliminated by the body. It is recommended to drink plenty of water when taking DE so you don't get constipated.
*****This is important: we recommend only FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH for internal use - other grades are available, but are not respected as safe for ingestion.*****
How to Use Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth to Detox Mercury & Other Heavy Metals
Stir 1 teaspoon of food grade diatomaceous earth in 4 oz of water or juice a day. Start with 1 teaspoon and work up to 1-2 tablespoons over a week or two.
Because of the potentially unpalatable texture, many of us @gardenofeden prefer to make a small "shot" of it in a little liquid rather than to put it in a large glass...it's not exactly one for savoring, but you can try it in your detox shake if you like!
Be sure to take plenty of water throughout the day to avoid constipation.
And that's not all: DE not only binds to metals, but has been shown to be super safe, effective, gentle, and CHEAP for many other uses in the body & around the home:
Because we experience and witness the many amazing benefits of FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH and believe everyone deserves access to affordable healthcare, we are proud to offer FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH by donation towards a better world for ALL!
And because it's worth repeating, here's the easy recipe for a DETOX SMOOTHIE:
1-2 cups of organic mixed berries; raspberries (which help also kill candida and mold), blackberries, etc.
2 cups wild blueberries
1 cup cilantro
1 cup orange juice (optional for extra vitamin C)
1 tsp barley grass juice powder
1 tsp spirulina
1 small handful of Atlantic dulse
Optional: water to blend
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Add water to desired consistency.
Chlorella can be taken separately as tablets or blended in as powder.
If you are having too many side effects from detox and/or feel it is too much for your body to handle, then cut the ratios of each item in your smoothie and try again.
We hope this will inspire you to do additional research and work towards the best possible health for yourself!
